Invisalign® utilizes a series of invisible and removable aligners that are virtually invisible. Unlike traditional braces, it is extremely difficult to tell one someone is wearing Invisalign® teeth straighteners. The removable aligners are comfortable and are made with 3-D computer imaging that has been proven to be effective.
How Does Invisalign® Work?
You wear the custom aligners for approximately 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. After the 2 weeks, you will replace the aligners with the next in the series. Each series of aligners will move your teeth little by little. Depending upon how much movement your teeth require, the typical treatment time averages anywhere from 9-15 months with 18-30 alignment series worn. You will visit our office about once every 6 weeks to make sure the treatment is progressing as planned.
